Porsche energizes the crowd with it's new Taycan S electric vehicle
Porsche was founded in 1931 in Stuttgart, Germany, by Ferdinand Porsche, an engineer whose obsession with lightness, balance, and the pure connection between driver and machine still defines the company nearly a century later.
At its heart is the 911. Launched in 1963 with its radical rear-engine layout and flat-six engine, it defied physics and convention to become the defining sports car of the 20th and 21st centuries. Eight generations later, the 911 remains one of the most exhilarating driving machines available at any price.
Over the past quarter century, the company has deftly balanced heritage with bold reinvention. The Cayenne SUV (launched in 2002) and later its compact sibling the Macan (launched in 2014) have became the financial backbone of the company and now fund every 911 variant and Le Mans campaign. The 2019 Taycan, Porsche’s first all-electric model, proved that zero emissions could still deliver a racing heartbeat—over 1,000 horsepower in its fastest form with steering so alive it feels telepathic.
With nineteen overall victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the highest profit per vehicle of any carmaker, and annual deliveries topping 300,000, Porsche has achieved what was thought to be impossible: scale without compromise.
THE CHALLENGE
Automotive press events and product launches are always grand, exciting events, and the unveiling of the new Porsche Taycan S was no exception. Complete with a rumbling soundtrack, incredible visuals, and exceptional presentations, the Taycan S launch event was designed to excite the hearts and minds of Porsche enthusiasts everywhere.
To reach those enthusiasts, wherever they may be, required a multi-faceted IP and broadcast delivery plan. Every social media platform, every Porsche web property, and broadcast media outlets worldwide needed high quality and reilable access to the video feed. That's where GlobeStream Media came in.

Our solution and approach leveraged SRT, LRT, and RTMPS IP video streaming transport protocols to deliver low-latency, perfectly synced content to multipe global ingest platforms, including sites in China, Germany, France, and the United States.
