GlobeStream Sports, a division of GlobeStream Media, was recently awarded the contract to provide broadcast production services to Louisiana Tech University (LA Tech). This multi-year agreement covers Women's Soccer, Women's Volleyball, Football, Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Baseball, and Softball.
GlobeStream Sports will be covering over 80 games for LA Tech during the 2023 - 2024 season, all of which will be distributed on ESPN+. To cover these games cost effectively, GlobeStream Sports is leveraging the capabilities of the company's REMI broadcast facility in McKinney, Texas, a northern suburb of Dallas. The facility, which features multiple control rooms, master control, remote commentary booths, and soon a small studio for halftime and intermission production, uses Panasonic's state-of-the-art KAIROS IP-based video switching platform to enable high-quality, cost-effective 1080p60 remote sports production.
