The Biggest ICC in History!

Inductive Automation is a leading industrial automation software company headquartered in Folsom, California. Founded in 2003, the company is best known as the creator of Ignition — the world’s first truly universal industrial application platform. Ignition is a web-based SCADA, HMI, MES, and IIoT solution that runs on any device, connects to any database or PLC, and scales from a single server to unlimited clients with a single license.

Unlike traditional automation software that locks users into rigid licensing and vendor-specific hardware, Ignition uses open standards (SQL, Python, OPC UA, MQTT) and a modular architecture, giving engineers and system integrators unlimited tags, screens, and concurrent clients at a fixed cost. This disruptive model has made Inductive Automation one of the fastest-growing companies in the industrial software space, serving over 60% of Fortune 100 industrial companies and thousands of integrators worldwide.

Each year, Inductive hosts the Inductive Community Conference (ICC) — the largest gathering of Ignition users, developers, and integrators — where attendees see live demos, “Prove It!” coding challenges, and deep-dive training on the latest platform features. With a passionate, grassroots community and a culture built on transparency and innovation, Inductive Automation continues to redefine what’s possible in industrial digital transformation.

THE CHALLENGE

Inductive Automation’s flagship user conference had outgrown it’s previous venue, the beautiful Harris Center in Folsom, CA. For 2025, Inductive Automation chose the Sacramento Convention Center is ICC’s new home and needed broadcast-level execution across four simultaneous venues: a 1,200+ seat main theater, the high-energy “Prove It!” secondary stage, two breakout theaters running dozens sessions; plus the SCADA arcade, a relaxation room, and Discovery Gallery. In addition, each of the sessions across all the theaters and breakout rooms was to be live-streamed, laid-back Ignition-community vibe.

WHY GLOBESTREAM MEDIA?

GlobeStream Media has been a long time partner with Tucker Media Group (TMG), a creative services agency based in Sacramento, CA. For the past 6 years, TMG, along with GlobeStream Media, have provided support for ICC, including creative services, copywriting, stage management, and ancillary audio visual support while the event was hosted at the Harris Center. It was only natural that, as ICC moved to a new venue, Inductive Automation tapped TMG and GlobeStream Media companies creative design and audio visual expertise to “Level Up” the 2025 ICC experience.
